I had a long wait at the light. How could I not take a picture? This was my break between errands on a busy day where it seemed I had too much to do. My Zen moment, if you will.
This weekend I'll attend a gardening tea and go to the farmer's market. That's all. Nothing else. Nada. I'm going to lounge around like a goddess on a mountaintop and let Boz feed me grapes.
What are you doing this weekend?

This weekend I wish I was just doing nothing! Well, we will eat someplace (pie?), probably a new joint somewhere. I wish that was it.
P, I didn't know you did errands - I gotta keep that in mind!
A very nice pic. I, too, gotta remember 2 bring my camera with me to take pics while in my car, just like you.
Tackling chaos and dodging the law. Same ol', same ol'.
Please ask Boz to email directions to my dogs as to how to feed grapes to their needy owner. Urgent...
Lovely photo and commentary. I need a life of zen moments...
Alas, my husband is out of town for ten days! I am on 24/7 mom/referee duty. But on Sunday I will take the kids to my mom's so that I can go to my meditation class. Oooommmm.
Why yes, Cafe. Occasionally I do errands to give the servants a break. And remember, if you take pictures while in the car, you must only do it while the car is at a complete stop!
USElaine, you're like Batman only prettier.
Desiree, we shall eye the Restless Chef for the results.
Jilly, unfortunately I haven't been able to teach Boz how to type. He's pretty good with the fax machine, so maybe we can fax some pictures. Truly, though, he's clumsy with the grapes. He carries the bunch in his mouth and as soon as I take hold of it he wants to play tug-of-war and we have grapes all over the place.
Margaret, that sounds like war...and peace.
Restless Dez: do you deliver?
And, Goddess MF: so it sounds like Mr Beginagain is in your dog house, which if it's like mine comes with all the amenities - servants too (cats).
I hope you stood with your hands on your hips like these chicks while you waited at the red light! Walk this way indeed. Your gardening tea and farmer's market sounds like the makings of a blissful weekend. Boz feeding you graped could get a little slobbery though. Starting at 4:30 pm today until 9:00 Monday morning I have absolutely nothing I have to do. My only goal is to finish last Sunday's NY Times before I buy a new one.
Um, Boz just went past my office with something for you, but I don't think it's grapes. It appeared to be moving.
I have a couple of dinners with friends on my calendar this weekend. So I'll be fed, even if not grapes.
I hope we have some sun on Sunday - I'd like to go out to photograph.
Woo, I'm cleaning this weekend. I didn't clean last weekend, so the old homestead (apartmentstead?) is a mess at the moment.
After that, my folks are coming over for dinner. I can do this with a clear conscience because I will have a clean home again- and I can imagine that I'm fooling my mom about how messy I can get.
Very cool ladies in the picture, btw- I like the real one on the sidewalk echoing the stenciled ones on the poster.
What's a gardening tea? Do you drink tea whilst mowing?
Oh my... That's across the street from my old job! :(
How serendipitous is the shape of the wee lass waiting on t'other side of lights ...
Car Shopping. Preliminary stages, I think, but there is one we're interested in we're checking out tomorrow.
Then on Sunday, my Parents' 40th Anniversary!! Yay! Cooking dinner for them and dessert is Caramel Apple Cheesecake. Such fun.
Nice shot, Petrea! Those bare naked ladies do have some attitude. {Nice to see the graffiti people have left them unmodified.}
Your weekend sounds delightfully bucolic. Mine will be shamefully lazy but shall involve baking a slice or treat of some description and eating same {probably involves chocolate, sorry Cafe Pasadena}.
Happy car shopping, Christie!
I'm getting together with some former field reps, and other that being a lazy bum and trying to get some rest. Maybe a little gardening but maybe not.
I thought for a second you meant the red light district when I saw the photo... :-) But, wait... that's not Pasadena, but Amsterdam.
I'm taking a day off - yeah! Finally a chance to organize and catch some R&R. Working tomorrow.
Taking some time off; it's been really busy at my work lately. So, plans include reading, playing music, sleeping, going out to lunch, taking walks, etc.
Have a good weekend :>)
It's fun reading everyone's weekend plans. I hope you're all enjoying yourselves right now!
