What is that, four stories? Five?
Aw hell, that's not so high. Ahem.
This man's hanging from a cable on a little chair. He has a bucket, and it looks like he's got a speaker of some sort so he can talk to his cohort on the ground.
My camera's got a telephoto setting but I rarely use it because it diminishes the photo quality. I didn't get a good close-up. However, I believe he's smiling.
Today's the Doo Dah Parade. Expect your favorite Pasadena bloggers to come up with something odd and/or silly for their next posts.

Not only that, P. I expect to see you in the DooDah parade!
lovely capture!
that guy is sure enjoying his work!! good thing!
Elaine, maybe next year we bloggers will get organized in time to do something. We thought about it too late this time. Though one among our number, Susan C, will be marching today for a good cause.
He did seem to be enjoying it, Magiceye. Either that or he liked getting his picture taken.
Wow. There's one job I could never do -- not unless people wanted their windows washed with my copious tears of terror.
Good shot. That is not a job I could handle!
I find the view of someone hanging in a bosun's chair always a little suspenseful. Not so sure I'd trust the line, myself, but happy enough to photograph the poor sod testing it's strength. Doo-Dah ... now that does sound interesting !
ok, I'm sure I should know this....but....what is the Doo Dah Parade?
The Doo Dah Parade is Pasadena's counterculture answer to the Tournament of Roses Parade. Dave, I'm surprised you weren't the grand master! (kidding)
A bunch of local bloggers met for breakfast before the parade, which was a blast. But we missed the beginning of the parade. I didn't find a good perch for shooting photos, and I kid you not - I did not get one decent shot of the parade. Not one! Last year I was up front and took nearly 600 shots of the parade. This year I got a couple of good pics of bystanders! It was nice though because the streets were closed, so I got some good architecture pics...
I was hoping for a parade pic for Zen Monday, but I don't think so.
It amazes me how many people who live in Pasadena or next door, don't know what the DDParade is!
P, just use one of your 600 shots from last year! Even, Little Laurie told me she didn't have a good location for taking shots today...and she got there early!
I found a spot to stand down on Colorado in the hot sun. I got some decent shots, but not a lot.
I will have to check it out next year!
Dave, here's a link for you. Next year you must see it (or be in it!
Hi Petrea! I'm missing being able to visit you daily. Only two more weeks of grandma duty, though.
This is a great shot, you lucky duck!
