Some people just can't be stopped.

They are running because the storm is coming.

This is such a great shot!

My grandfather got a super8 camera when I was a kid, and filmed us in all sorts of situations. Waving at the camera, for me, was irrepressible too! What's up with that?

I hadn't heard there was a bear loose in Pasadena! Cool photo; makes me want to stay in bed though.

He's waving goodby because Petrea stopped running.

Chased by the clouds, Vanda. A soCal rarity.

Thanks, Laurie. You know the waving kid makes it!

I don't know Elaine, but I was thrilled when he waived and that I got it. There's about a year-long delay on my SP-350.

As cool as it gets here, Katie, we can rarely call it cold. But the couple of days of rain we had this week were real downpours, not just sprinkles.

AH, I never started.

What a great shot Petrea! My daughter runs there every Saturday with her cross country team. :-)

Yes, P, some people just can't be stopped.
Actually --wait!--on closer inspection these aren't people: this looks like an annual turkey run. Run turkeys before it's too late!

And to think the news media never reported Arroyo Hoss rearing up and chasing everybody out. I can't believe Fox News and the real news blackouts around here. Where is KPCC? Patt Morrison? Chuck Henry? Geraldo???? Run for your lives!

They're being chased by arrow wilding suburbanites. The boy's raised hand is a gesture of retreat and surrender.

Irrepressible.

The sound of pale hams slapping in the dawn.

The hufn-'n'-puff of executive determination.

Irrepressible.

For those moments when you should be alone, but alas ...

Irrepressible.

The new fragrance. Wherever fine running apparel is sold.

Phew I'm exhausted just watching them. I just saw your piece about your Dad. I left a comment.

Is that CV park? My daughter used to run there with cross country. Such a pure but brutal sport...

Just looking at it makes me feel tired!

Running off all those extra Thanksgiving Day calories...

It's like Zen Saturday out here.

Kathy, it's Lower Arroyo Park in Pasadena. The runners are heading south from the Colorado Street Bridge near the La Loma Bridge. I'm not familiar with CV Park...?

Hey, thank you all. This is just too fun.
