Paint Job

I was struck by the paint job on All Tune & Lube at 1280 East Walnut. I don't know much about them; the place looked awfully clean and closed for a weekday morning. I looked them up online and found a couple of excellent reviews, but not recent ones. All I can tell you is the paint job is apparently part of the franchise.

I took this picture Friday. We had a bit of rain Saturday (yay!). Big, heavy clouds spent their entire day rolling around the mountaintops. I wanted to get photos of them but my entire day was over-committed. If only it weren't so dangerous to take pictures while driving.

OMG, at first I thought you were in suburban NY when I saw your username. That's cos' there is a nice town on Long Island called, Islip.

Then I saw Pasadena. :-)

This is such a killer shot, P. That diagonal yellow line is just fabulous.

I agree with Laurie! Love the angles and the sort of arrow that is created with the wall and its shadow!

I'm not sure I get you, Ming. Do you have me mixed up with the lovely and talented Islipian? I'll take it as a compliment.

Oh dear, PA, your eclectic brain is ahead of me. However Boz was standing next to me, trying very hard to pee in my shot.

Thank you, Bernie, Laurie and Kelly. I kinda like this one, too.

You know just where to stand to achieve the best effect in the scene. I'll bet they love you in the theater.

Love the color combo! Speaking of shooting photos while driving...have you seen my blog recently? ;-)

It seems that the wall is part of the building & just got shifted away for a while. teriffic.

Very clean. It looks a bit like a bumble bee paint job! I wish they would invent a way to take photos while driving. I saw a great sky this evening but there was no where to stop, if only I had an extra pair of hands!

Another beautifully composed photograph, you’re on fire!

Saretta, you daredevil! You too, Hope!

That's a cool way of seeing it, Tash.

Marley, perhaps you should check out Saretta's blog post from yesterday. I'm about to head over and see if Hope's been "driving and shooting" as well. There's also the problem here of not always having parking available when there's a shot I want. And if I find a place to put the car, then come running back the block or blocks, will the shot still be there?

That UK mini dealership is cute, Miss H. I photo is in order.

Why thank you, Kris!
