On Zen Monday you experience the photo then tell me what it's about, rather than me telling you what to experience from viewing it. The Zen photos are now numbered instead of titled, so as to leave more to the imagination.

Pasadena Adjacent Double jinx: I just came over to your site to link us. Perfect post, perfect timing.
I don't know what it's *about* - but I know what it reminds me of...
Spending summers with my cousins in CA...as a very young child going after church on Sundays to the Beverly Pony Rides...and finally being big enough to go trail riding at Arroyo Seco stables...I'd thought of that day for SO long...I remember riding over in the car, singing along with John Denver on the radio to "Rocky Mountain High" with all my cousins...my same-age cousin who refused to wear the shoes I suggested he wear (me being a horse expert and all at about the age of 10)....finally getting on the horse....and being TERRIFIED. Ha. Going home after and tasting guacamole for the first time ever (then, yuck...now, yum).
Yeah, lotta memories from that day, and that's what this picture brought me...thank you.
Once again, thank you all for a truly enlightening day! I hope you looked at Pasadena Adjacent's link. Synergy or what?
It's so much fun for me to peek in during the day and find out what people are saying about the picture. I want to respond but I wait because I don't want to influence.
Islipian, that's what it's about: whatever it brings to your mind. Thank you.
P, I've been very tempted to respond to your wunderful 1/2- assed pic.
But, I enjoy readin the comments more than commenting myself. Knowing how the inner Alt-hiker luvs horsing around, hers is my fav so far. It's concise, complete, clear...,and cute!
The comments have gotten better since I started blogging. I think I'm gonna try to be less of a commentator, and more of a comment reader and shutterbug in the future.

If you're going to be a horse's ass, be the best, most beautiful horse's ass you can be.
Hello !
On ne voit qu'une patte du cheval...
USElaine: I herd that remark.
The hurrier I go, the behinder I get.
A horse who does not know that for being immortalized one's need to have four legs in the frame!
A horse trying to escape an environment not very friendly to its nature.
I think that it is speaking of how fast life is moving these days...even cameras can't keep up!!
View, schmiew. There's a dude with apples over there!

I'm gonna try, I say.
So, no comment.
"What happened to the trees? And the grassy fields? Those humans are always making a mess of things!"
She snorted, flicked her tail and trotted away, to greener pastures.
Thank god that RNC is over. One more ass will not do, so I'm outta here folks! (said the Donkey to the Elephants)
Blogger horses 'round...
Hey, this ain't no hitchin' post!
Pony show. No dog.
All horsing around aside - great picture that inspired some clever, funny & thoughtful comments. So glad PA "steered" me here (Oops, wrong animal).
1/2-assed! C.O., that's a funny comment for a non-comment.
In fact, these are all funny. Hi Tash, welcome to the party.
"excuse me gotta run..."
