Interesting photo. Not my idea of beauty, but yesterday's purple! :)
We did have a good time in DeKalb--our hotel was there! We visited my husband's grandma who lives in Sycamore. It was nice to see all the lilacs in bloom. It was also lovely to meet Kelly and we had a wonderful visit.
I'm not a big fan of huge walls like this, nor the garage being just about all one sees of a house from the street. Maybe there's a nice zen garden inside the wall though!
I'll absolutely look forward to Zen Monday. A great idea, Petrea.
Something about this place reminds me of The Gordon House, a Frank Lloyd Wright home situated at The Oregon Garden three miles from my home. The link - http://www.thegordonhouse.org/

I had not yet heard about Zen Monday. I'll look for the badge when you bring it forth.
I love the walls. Love the zen.

One person out of three likes it. Not bad. I didn't want to tell people what I saw in this one, but I saw something that was beautiful to me.
Hmm. Maybe I'll make Zen Monday a regular thing, just for fun. If I remember.
… now and zen …
Aaaauuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm.

Actually, this is a more current link and the page isn't on that horrid black background!

I like how plain and uncluttered it is.
I lke Zen Monday a lot.
I think I'll continue to do Zen Monday. I've enjoyed your comments. Thank you all.
Lydia, maybe the connection is lines and shadows. The view in my photo struck me as graphic: lines/angles/shadows/gray upon gray.
uselaine, this is what I see when I exit the back door of the studio where I practice yoga!
