Flea Market Ladies

I hear the Rose Bowl Flea Market is world famous. It ought to be, if for no other reason than sheer size. The second Sunday of every month, vendors surround the stadium selling everything new, used, old, horrible, fabulous, grotesque or sublime.

In proving the adage, "One man's trash is another man's treasure," you may have to dig deep--or walk a long way. Use your imagination, wear comfortable shoes, and bring plenty of cash.

Why would anyone want to get rid of those dresses? LOL

Ah, Jim, for the profit. The profit!!

Plus I think they're dressmakers' dummies. Those "dresses" might not come off, come to think of it.

Thank you (Gerald, is it?) for including me. It's going to take me ages to peruse your site--ages I'll thoroughly enjoy.

AH, got it, had to look at them again.

Lovely to see these. I also think that they are dressmaker fitting models. I bet that this is a very crowded place the day of the sale!

Hi Pat--Guelph is lovely! Thank you for showing me. I'm loving this photo-a-day thing. Addictive, isn't it?

People come from miles around for the Rose Bowl Flea Market. It's the biggest one I've ever seen and yes, it's huge. We got there late and so got stuck in traffic getting into the parking lot. But it was worth it. Kind of a circus, actually!
