Boz! No! Danger! That isn't a fork, it's an appendage of Zebritus Anglerus, aka the striped trapskirt, a sendentary predator that lures mammals with decoys of tasty looking food (and related paraphenalia.)
All I can say is that's a sweet, sweet pooch (do stripes evoke primal responses in canines?) - there is nothing like having a dog hanging around underfoot.
As bedtime approaches (ah, it's been a fantastic day), I once again thank you for your contributions.
Cliff, brilliant, but too many syllables! Dogs mostly stick with the one-syllable words. More like, "Boz! No! Bad! No fork! No skirt! No lick!"
Chieftess, speaking of beef, Boz had hamburger and rice for breakfast and dinner today. He's turning his nose up at dog food these days. John and I have become his personal chefs. Tomorrow we'll try turkey burger.
For the last year or two of Daisy's life, I used to cook a chicken breast and rice...up here, I drove to Bishop every other week to go to Smart and Final to get good chicken breasts for less!!! Foster farms no less!!!
S&F! Thank you, Chieftess, that's such a good idea. I was cooking whole chickens and getting really, really tired of it. But the vet says give him what he'll eat, and I say he shall have what he wants.
