Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and tell us what it means. I suggest you leave your ideas in the comments, because we can't all hear you from there.
Many thanks to my husband, John Sandel, for spotting this one.

aren't ALL mothers expectant? Expecting their kids to come home, or call, or write?
ReplyDeleteSomeone said to me just the other day, "You are one expectant mother!"
ReplyDeleteMy mother had double-pneumonia when she was six, before the invention of antibiotics, so she coughed all her life like she was a heavy smoker. Do you suppose expectorant mothers are allowed to park there as well?
ReplyDeleteAs a parent and an expectant person (in its meaning of high hopes and looking forward to things), and a bad parker, I can relate to all aspects of this!
ReplyDeleteNOW that is a first... What hospital/medical center did u spot this at? :-)
ReplyDeleteThere is a space reserved for "Mothers with children" at a local Walmart. Is there another kind of mother?
ReplyDeleteThe parking garage area near Nordstrom at the Westfield Mall in Arcadia has designated "expectant mother" slots but not sure if that is what is on the sign...
ReplyDeleteThey are sprouting up here and there. Both expectant mothers AND special parking slots for their convenience.
If the pregnancy test is a negative, there's a ticket on your car by the time you get to it.
ReplyDeleteNice to have some place to park your expectant mother, when you go shopping.
ReplyDeleteWhy was John trying to park there?
ReplyDeleteWell darn!!! I think I might have an extra pillow somewhere....
ReplyDeleteOoh, would I count as an expectant mother if I were going in to purchase, say, a puppy, a kitten, or even a nice new MacBook Pro?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there is an OB/GYN doctor standing by to enforce this.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you & the husband!!
ReplyDeleteNowadays it's never too late in this modern crazy world of medical advances.
Like the shade of red of this expectant mother. Looks new and shiny. She must have just found out....
ReplyDeleteSo is this parking space even closer to the door than the handicapped spot? If not, it should be, especially for expectant mothers that have existing babies in car seats in the back.
ReplyDeleteWhat Cafe Pasadena said. Thats pretty funny
ReplyDeleteBeware the mother with no expectations
ReplyDeleteAs you know, there are no prizes on Zen Monday. But Cafe Pasadena made me guffaw. And I mean that. Loud and long.
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun Zen Monday! Thank you all for your comments!
This elite parking space is outside the back door of Right Start baby shop on Lake Avenue in Pasadena. I guess we know who they cater to! And in case Cafe is wondering, John and I were next door at Verizon.
