ReplyDeleteThey put the name of their restaurant up there because they weren't permitted to run a food establishment in this part of Pasadena. Unfortunately, though the permit officer never spotted it, neither did any customers.

Borrowing the idea of the christian fish, people convinced that global climate change is a threat to the ecosphere use the "Can O' Beans" symbol to recognize each other without exposing themselves to deniers, lest they be thrown to the oil company executives.
