I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something, I stay out of the comments box until the end of the day to avoid influencing the discussion.

Why do Pasadenish chain chairs to trees? Am I missing something?

ReplyDeleteNot to stop the fun-making here, but if I'm not mistaken, that chair is chained at the corner of Washington and Catalina, in front of Longfellow Elementary. The very nice gentleman who is the crossing guard at that intersection had several chairs stolen (he needs someplace to sit while waiting for kids to come out from school), so he finally decided that the best thing to do was chain it to something, so that it could never be stolen again.
