Zen Monday: #107

At last, at last, it's Zen Monday, the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about.

I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion.

Let your imagination dictate. There's no right or wrong. We're here to have fun until we just can't take it anymore.

  1. I see a person who is worship the new porch of the garge. It seems to me a little bit unusual, but everyone must go to heaven his own way...

  8. "Buy! Buy!," says the sign in the shop window. "Why? Why?," says the junk in the yard.

  11. Unemployed actor, Harry Schmutz, having just found work as a cement finisher, lies down in his driveway, seeking to understand the motivation of the concrete.

  12. I suppose a patch of sun is a patch of sun but I'd have used a sunbed rather than bare concrete.

  23. This is one of those where I've checked in during the day then gone about my business repeating your jokes to myself and laughing out loud in public. People think I'm nuts, but that's nothing new.

There are so many good ones today.

Virginia, I should think topping the Altadena Hiker would give you motivation to try again, now that we know you've got it in you.

  24. These comments are great -- the green reminds me of that green mint ice cream. As for the "lounger" maybe he's meditating on the design (or cracks) on the ceiling, or perhaps his back went out and he's stuck there until his wife gets home.

  25. I guess that's why the Christmas lights are still up.

  26. Wow, Greg … late to the party, but you brought a treat.

  28. Keep 'em coming! Zen Monday can last all week as far as I'm concerned.
