You won't be surprised to know it's Zen Monday.
Today's the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no competition, no right or wrong. We're here to have fun.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the discussion. Ohm.
The morning fog seems to have compressed our sky, it will clear by noon.....

ReplyDeleteOne night, frustrated that his artistic ambitions were unfulfilled, the painter fell asleep in front of one of artist Gene Davis's paintings, and was inspired to make a horizontal version on this building, which became his canvas.

ReplyDeleteThe hedges tried.
ReplyDeleteThey wanted to be just like the other horizontal lines: joined at the center without a seam in sight.
They reached and reached until...
...they ran out of steam.
It simply was not worth it.
It looks like an abstract painting or art installation. Great colors, cool photo :)

ReplyDeleteThis is sensational, Petrea! Something about it - the colours - that turquoise - makes me think of Hockney and California and those swimming pool paintings.
ReplyDeleteNo comment for the photo but thank you for your words on my blog. You are in my heart, too.
ReplyDeleteOf all the photos I've called "zen," this one may come the closest to the actual meaning of the word. Or not.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your visits and comments today. I loves me some Zen Monday, you know I do!
But where is it?
ReplyDeleteThis is over on Locust St. at Allen Avenue near Jameson & Brown Coffee Roasters, Anon. It's on the north side of the street. I believe it's a storage company.
ReplyDeleteI love this--I think it's the storage place on locust/allen--but I've never seen it like this--
