New Heart Foursquare Church shares a driveway, and sometimes parking, with Masters Building Supply (yesterday's post). If you're looking for a church, you might want to take a look at New Heart's website. They've got a lot going on, and this is is one place that seems to be keeping their web presence up-to-date.
I just had to grab a shot of this sign for today. To all you moms mas, mothers, nannies, grannies, grandmothers and meemaws, Happy Mother's Day!
'Cept for that one poor dude, born way back when by some vague process that left his mom out of it ... got him into a world of trouble -- they put a bounty on his head ... I wonder if they'd welcome him inside ...
ReplyDeleteMeemaw...that's my favorite!!! Happy Mom's Day!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mom's day! Our Mom's day will be held by the next month I think...
ReplyDeletePetrea, please let me know after receiving my mail. I should make sure you get it ;)

Happy Mother's Day! Some church signs have a fun but important messages!
ReplyDeleteNice message. Happy Mother's Day to all.
ReplyDelete(Have you ever played with a church sign generator? Google it and find some. There are lots of them on line and they are lots of fun.)
J, you're sounding like a believer.
ReplyDeleteI'm picking up some new ones lately, Chieftess.
I will let you know, Sarah. I'm watching for it.
I remembered nannies but forgot mumsies, V! Happy day to mumsies!
I love a church with a sense of humor, don't you, Leif?
Mr. Earl, I haven't done that. I'm not sure I will. Maybe someday when my desk is clear...
I was trying to put something together with hardware, church, and carpenters, but that made my brain hurt.
ReplyDeleteVery funny photo. You're right at least it's a church with a sense of humor (and some nice bricks). My mom would definitely be shocked if I went to church (unless it was to hear her sing in the choir, which I did do once at Easter).
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I like it.
ReplyDeleteA surprise indeed, particularly if they're nice Jewish mothers...
ReplyDeleteThe sign made me smile, as did Desiree's comment :)
ReplyDeleteGood one, Desiree.
ReplyDeleteI hope you all had a nice Mother's Day.
Funny!
ReplyDeleteA church with a sense of humor and a blogger with a sense of humor to appreciate it!

I understand it's a .......
Very funny how you wrote this, Petrea. hehe
ReplyDeleteJohn's idea is something to ponder, too.
Hiker: Jesus was a carpenter.
ReplyDeleteDesiree: Oy vey!
Glad you see the humor, Shanna and Dina.
ReplyDeleteEarl, I believe that's what the Hiker's referring to.
I'm so dense!
ReplyDeleteEarl, it was after 10PM. You were tired. You're the last person I'd call dense. Well, the second-to-last.
