Surprise Mom!

I know a few moms who'd be shocked if their offspring went to church today. Don't do it if it's going to cause palpitations or anything. Do what's good for Mom's heart.

New Heart Foursquare Church shares a driveway, and sometimes parking, with Masters Building Supply (yesterday's post). If you're looking for a church, you might want to take a look at New Heart's website. They've got a lot going on, and this is is one place that seems to be keeping their web presence up-to-date.

I just had to grab a shot of this sign for today. To all you moms mas, mothers, nannies, grannies, grandmothers and meemaws, Happy Mother's Day!

  6. Nice message. Happy Mother's Day to all.

(Have you ever played with a church sign generator? Google it and find some. There are lots of them on line and they are lots of fun.)

  7. J, you're sounding like a believer.

I'm picking up some new ones lately, Chieftess.

I will let you know, Sarah. I'm watching for it.

I remembered nannies but forgot mumsies, V! Happy day to mumsies!

I love a church with a sense of humor, don't you, Leif?

Mr. Earl, I haven't done that. I'm not sure I will. Maybe someday when my desk is clear...

  8. I was trying to put something together with hardware, church, and carpenters, but that made my brain hurt.

  9. Very funny photo. You're right at least it's a church with a sense of humor (and some nice bricks). My mom would definitely be shocked if I went to church (unless it was to hear her sing in the choir, which I did do once at Easter).

  17. Glad you see the humor, Shanna and Dina.

Earl, I believe that's what the Hiker's referring to.

  18. Earl, it was after 10PM. You were tired. You're the last person I'd call dense. Well, the second-to-last.
