Zen Monday is the day you experience the photo and give us your thoughts rather than me telling you what I think the photo's about. There's no right or wrong. It means what you think it means, or what you want it to mean.
I look for a photo worth contemplating or, failing that, something odd or silly. And unless I absolutely must say something I stay out of the comments box to avoid influencing the intellectual path of the discussion, because when I get in there everything goes downhill.
As I post each new Zen Monday photo I add a label to last week's to identify it if necessary.
First I've remembered the song "Judy in the sky with diamonds". I don't know why.
ReplyDeleteAnd the envelope please. Hoping for the sky and beyond with this one!
ReplyDeleteStealth zen.
ReplyDeleteOh, man, Tash beat me. I saw the envelope too.
ReplyDeleteFreaky photo; makes me think of Pink Floyd for some reason. That bird better watch out if this is a flying saucer.
ReplyDeleteThe Imperial Star Destroyer's appearance over Pasadena caused widespread consternation.

ReplyDeletewhen i see cloud shots i always think of vienna. the one time i was there, for only a few days, i spent more time than anywhere else in my life just lying down in parks and looking at the sky. they have lots of parks there, lemme tell you, and fountains and all. and the clouds were particularly full of things to watch. lovely.
ReplyDeleteThe obelisk from Stanley Kubrik's 2001 - A Space Odyssey. Appeared to signal to mankind that the next transformation is about to occcur.
ReplyDeleteThere used to be this pyramid sculpture near where I lived and I would go to it and sit and just look up at the sky and dream, that's what I experience in this picture.
ReplyDeleteToday's photo has elicited ethereal comments. It's a bit of a sweet twist from our usual Zen Monday and I've enjoyed it. Thank you all.
ReplyDeleteam thinking that the stealth bomber is just a LITTLE too low for landing at Burbank or even March AFB or Vandenberg!
