I hadn't realized it was a church in another life, as Virginia said, but sjan sent me Googling and sure enough, it was once the Cornerstone Evangelical Church. The address is 920 N. Summit, at the corner of Mountain, and it is now the Los Angeles Buddhist Vihara, as it says over the door. Pretty website: http://www.labuddhistvihara.com/

Evangelical Church huh. I should know all about that because we've been studying the world's religions at church, but I've gotten lost there are so many.
