Did the tree have some tasty new shooots, I wonder? When I walk in Hahamongna at sunset, they come flying in from the west and head toward Altadena, chattering away, anxious to get home before their mothers get mad with them for being out late. I read recently that a pet parrot that could speak Spanish had escaped in Pasadena.
