As my vet would say " If the cat is a female, she's considered the queen".. That pose comes off proud and territorial... tho if its a male- what a Tom!. :-)
Hard to believe you captured this by happenstance - it's as color coordinated as a painting. I can already see it framed in a gallery, with a little red sticker beside it.
There was actually a second cat in the other chair--a matching cat! He ran off as soon as I saw them. The other, unafraid, stayed to pose (and guard). I think you're right, KBF, that's a female.
I love this photo! I wonder if the owners picked those cushions to match the cats or the other way around. We had two sister cats when I was a kid and one was scared of everything and the other one not at all.

Fantastic picture!
Ah, you can't fool a cat... he has you spotted!
That cat's waiting for her bowl of chocolate mouse.
Magnanimouse of him to allow to you take his picture really......
The second cat was whiskered away...
I like the mouse jokes better.

I've heard of people decorating with all kinds of materials, Katie, so why not with cats?
That is such a cool shot! It looks like she's waiting to be served tea.
Maybe she was!
I think she definitely was! Too cute...
What a wonderful photo! Especially for us "cat people". :-)
I love this. One of my favorites.
I wish I'd caught her companion in the photo. A mirror image.
