No Stopping Any Time
This is how I feel today--actually, I usually feel this way--a bit foggy with no place to stop, but if I can just get this thing weeded I'll be able to see the forest, not to mention the trees.
It's a really pretty picture, Petres. There was a shot of pink in your picture of the library, too. I think that color adds a bit of a lift wherever it shows up, especially in the fall.
After a few weeks of being able to enlarge my pictures, it went back to that black background, too. Phooey.
Steven, that's such a good idea. A BLT is always a good idea.
Speedway, I fixed it. I had been using Blogger's new interface, just for a day, and I switched back to the old one. (The new one is NOT ready for public consumption!) In switching back, I was asked for feedback. I hope they read it. Anyway, now I have my old picture viewing back. I hope I get to keep it.

I went to "Settings," then selected "Formatting." Go down to "Showcase images with lightbox." Select yes or no and be sure to save.
What? No stopping to look at those lovely flowers? Shame on whoever put up that sign. And thank you, Petrea for stopping and photographing them for us.
My only pointer is to enjoy the weeds as much as the trees and then your workload lightens. Is that honeysuckle on the left? If so, that's definitely worth saving!
Thank you for that, Speedway! That "lightbox" setting is a poor imitation of Facebook's already crappy interface. Can you tell I'm not crazy about it?

Bellis, I took this on the way to the Renaissance Faire in Irwindale a couple of months ago. They had directed all Faire traffic along side roads and we were backed up for a few miles. Plenty of time to stop and take pictures. I suppose I shouldn't tell you that. Knowing there were cars all around kind of ruins the mood of the picture.
"Rest Stop." I'm going to hang that one on my office door, Ms. M.
Katie, that is a darned good pointer. And I wouldn't know honeysuckle if it bit me.
It helps to read Blogger Buzz (which is next to Blogs I'm Following on the Reading List) and find out what they have done lately and how we can opt out of it.

ReplyDeleteThat photo reminds me of the beach. I doubt there's sand and an ocean on the other side of those pink flowers, but that's what comes to mind.
